Daily Journal: How do you combat the perception of bias, especially when one side is more powerful or seems to have the edge?

Edwards: I approach every dispute recognizing and accepting that there is always an imbalance of power, and determining the best way to work through an uneven playing field. The concern is to make sure that the anticipated imbalance of power is not coercive and doesn't jeopardize the fairness of the process.
