Daily Journal: How has the economy, or other factors, affected the types of dispute you are seeing?

Gibbs: Disputes on public construction are becoming more frequent because there is significantly more competition in the bidding of projects. Where there used to be 10 bidders, now there are perhaps 30, reducing margins for the winning bidder. This causes many more claims and lawsuits if things do not go as planned.
