First big case: Mediated a matter involving a father who sued his four adult children, two of whom were attorneys, in a business dispute. Notwithstanding the dispute, the family was very close, and when the matter settled for $5 million the entire family embraced. (No need to feel sorry for the adult children; they had won a verdict over $20 million, which their father had supported by advancing all attorney's fees and costs, in excess of $1 million.)
