YORBA LINDA - Driving over rolling hills toward Tam Schumann's Yorba Linda home, the street names let you know you're in horse country: Shetland Lane, Clydesdale Street, Secretariat Way. The local high school is "Home of the Mustangs."

But Schumann, who in addition to her love of riding practices Japanese flower arranging and tea ceremony, is not your stereotypical cowgirl.
