Daily Journal: What childhood lessons helped you become a successful neutral?
Dickinson: I was one of six boys growing up in New York. It was a common occurrence to negotiate among ourselves over TV hours, clothes, toys and food. It was survival! I quickly learned how to be a peacemaker - to negotiate deals between my siblings so that we could have family harmony.
