Daily Journal: How did you prepare and train to become a neutral?

Zebrowski: I served on the civil trial court and Court of Appeal for 17 years. Also, I took mediation and arbitration courses, studied the literature and learned from colleagues. Since commencing ADR practice 12 years ago, I learned much more from both colleagues and counsel, and sometimes from parties. Experience is the best teacher.
