Suspected to have committed multiple murders and dozens of rapes, the so-called Golden State Killer terrorized California citizens across the state for over a decade. Thanks to tenacious investigation coupled with advances in forensic techniques and DNA technology, an arrest was finally made last year that changed the way many view the prospect of cracking unsolved cases.
