Meta must proceed to discovery in health care tracking litigation

Several firms, including Kiesel Law LLP and Simmons Hanly Conroy LLC, have filed lawsuits on behalf of plaintiffs who claim tracking tools have allowed Meta to intercept identifiable health information.

Meta Platforms Inc. cannot escape allegations that its Pixel tracking tool unlawfully collected users’ medical history when they visited hospital websites as a federal judge in San Francisco denied the tech giant’s motion to dismiss the consolidated litigation.
