Workers accuse JetBlue of not paying incentives, violating laws

The airline did not include incentive compensation as part of the employees’ regular rate of pay” when calculating overtime and break premiums, the lawsuit claimed.

JetBlue Airways Inc. was sued by a proposed class of employees claiming wage and hour violations under the Private Attorneys General Act including failing to pay workers incentives they earned.

The lawsuit, filed Wednesday by Norman B. Blumenthal, Kyle R. Nordrehaug, Aparajit Bhowmik, and Jeffrey S. Herman of Blumenthal, Nordrehaug, Bhowmik De Blouw LLP, detailed the airline’s alleged incentive pay policy.
