Gender pay discrimination class action filed against Apple
The lawsuit was brought by two current Apple employees and accuses the company of forcing one of the lead plaintiffs to work alongside a colleague who allegedly sexually harassed her, and refusing to provide back pay for the years she was underpaid compared to her male colleagues.




A proposed gender pay discrimination class action was filed against Apple Inc. in San Francisco Superior Court on Thursday. The lawsuit alleges that Apple's "pay expectation" hiring practice systematically results in female employees being paid less than their male counterparts.
