Why the NCAA will take a forever timeout
The NCAA has agreed to a $2.8 billion settlement in a class action lawsuit, which will establish a fund to compensate current and former college athletes for lost wages pertaining to their name, image, and likeness (NIL) and other injustices dating back to 2016. The settlement is expected to mark the end of the NCAA as we know it.
