Judge trims sexual harassment lawsuit against Blackberry, CEO
U.S. Magistrate Judge Sallie Kim found that the plaintiff had only included three instances related to her hostile work environment claim and had given little substance to these allegations. The plaintiff has until Aug. 19 to file amended claims.
A federal judge in San Francisco trimmed a sexual harassment and workplace retaliation lawsuit against Blackberry and its CEO John Giamatteo, finding that a former female executive did not adequately allege that the conduct in question was as extensive as required by state law.
