Judge orders class notice to proceed in case targeting Google's confidentiality agreements

Monday's order from San Francisco County Superior Court Judge Ethan P. Schulman came despite the outcome of two appeal decisions threatening to disrupt the case.

A San Francisco judge on Monday ordered the parties in a Private Attorneys General Act lawsuit against staffing agency Adecco USA, Inc. to proceed with the class action notice process four months after he lifted a stay on plaintiffs' claims the company forced employees placed at Google LLC to comply with the tech giants' "illegal" confidentiality agreements.
