California’s SB 553 is the one to watch as states launch Workplace Violence Prevention Plans
California’s SB 553 requires virtually every employer in the state to have implemented a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) by July 1, 2024. Failure to comply with WVPP requirements may result in citations, penalties, and misdemeanors.
