Jeffer Mangels: BAY AREA OFFICE PLANS MOVE TO BIGGER SPACE

After 15 years at One Sansome Street, Jeffer Mangels Butler & Marmaro will move its 30-lawyer San Francisco office into bigger digs Aug. 24.

After 15 years at One Sansome Street, Jeffer Mangels Butler & Marmaro will move its 30-lawyer San Francisco office into bigger digs Aug. 24.
The new, 24,000-square-foot office is located at Two Embarcadero Center.
Dick Rogan, the office's managing partner, says Jeffer Mangels was able to take advantage of the market's lower lease rates in its San Francisco lease. Although Rogan couldn't divulge how much the firm is paying for the new space, he did say, "We got an excellent deal."
Also this summer, the firm will relocate its 130-lawyer West Los Angeles-based headquarters from 2121 Avenue of the Stars to 1900 Avenue of the Stars.
Moving both offices at nearly the same time is an enormous feat that Jeffer Mangels doesn't want to repeat, says managing partner
Bruce Jeffer.
Jeffer says the 160-lawyer firm signed an unusual 11-year lease at Embarcadero Center "so that our office leases will not expire at the same time again."
Rogan says the firm signed a more traditional 10-year lease in Los Angeles.
