SAN FRANCISCO - The partnership at Los Angeles' Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher will lift two California lawyers and six others to partner status effective Jan. 1.
Gibson Dunn announced the promotions Nov. 20.
The two California attorneys, Deborah Cussen and Lisa Fontenot, practice in San Francisco. Cussen works for the firm's real estate group, and Fontenot is a member of Gibson Dunn's corporate transactions team.
The other six attorneys moving up to the partnership are intellectual property litigator Monique Drake from Denver, real estate attorney Andrew Lance and corporate lawyer William Rustum in New York, government and commercial contracts and intellectual property lawyer Diana Richard in Washington, D.C., litigator Jon Shepherd in Dallas and Jean-Philippe Robe, a corporate transactions attorney in Paris.
