Cambodian ‘criminals’ headline was insensitive
I was disappointed to see the group of human beings discussed in this article referred to in the headline as “Cambodian criminals.”

I was disappointed to see the group of human beings discussed in this article referred to in the headline as "Cambodian criminals." [Cambodian criminals win ruling," Aug. 16]. While people who have committed crimes do meet the definition of "criminals," the use of the descriptor "Cambodian criminals" here strikes me as most unkind, lacking in compassion and regard, and thoughtless. I have no interest in policing language or being a bleeding heart here, just an interest in kindness.
