Trustee's lawyer seeks footage from 'Housewives' about Girardi spending
Attorney Ronald Richards told Bravo and EFT Productions LLC that they are legally required to preserve any and all footage or documents that could be relevant to the administration of the estate and or an investigation and complaint against Erika Girardi, should the matter move to litigation.
A bankruptcy lawyer investigating Thomas V. Girardi's funds sent a letter to Bravo Media LLC demanding all aired or unaired footage of the TV show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" that relates to the suspended attorney or his wife, Erika Girardi.
Tom Girardi and his firm were forced into bankruptcy in December amid allegations he stole millions of dollars in client funds. In April, after Los Angeles attorney Elissa D. Miller of SulmeyerKupetz was appointed trustee, she employed Beverly Hills attorney Ronald Richards to investigate and recover assets that Tom Girardi may have transferred to his wife, either directly or to other people or entities on her behalf.
In a letter sent Tuesday, Richards told Bravo and EFT Productions LLC that they are legally required to preserve any and all footage or documents that could be relevant to the administration of the estate and or an investigation and complaint against Erika Girardi, should the matter move to litigation.
