PLEASANTON - Some things are easier to juggle than others. David Durant can tell you that balancing a full-time in-house legal position with a seat on the Contra Costa Transportation Authority and a city council position isn't one of them.

However, Durant was recently able to enjoy a rare vacation. His choice was Bali in the South Pacific. He was proud to display the intricately carved statues of Buddha and Shiva that he brought back to his Pleasanton office.
