MONTEREY PARK — Challenges are nothing new for Superior Court Judge Linda L. Sun.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, she came to the United States by herself when she was 18. “My parents, who were educators, basically had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to send me over here,” she said.
