      WEAVERVILLE - The weathered man shuffled up to Trinity County Superior Court Judge Anthony C. Edwards at a weekly soup kitchen in the tiny community of Hayfork and posed a question.
      "Should I call ya judge, or Tony?" the fellow said, his face, several days removed from a shave, breaking into a big grin.
