PASADENA - With more than 17 years of experience on the bench and after having spent the past year and a quarter presiding over a personal injury trial courtroom, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge C. Edward Simpson finds one of the most important - and sometimes difficult - aspects of his job to be motivating juries.
