VENTURA — There are 13 lawyers sitting in Judge Kent Kellegrew's courtroom for a trial that's expected to last at least another month.

A jury will decide whether pesticides are responsible for harm incurred by a baby while he was in the womb.

It's the kind of case Kellegrew lives for.

"I love this work because it's complicated," he said.
