9th Circuit Conservative Is a Forceful Player on and Off Court

Appointed to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals by President George H.W. Bush in 1989, Judge Pamela Ann Rymer is known as a conservative who is not afraid to speak her mind. “She’s a judge’s judge and a lawyer’s lawyer,” said Kathleen M. Sullivan, former dean of Stanford Law School.
