SAN FRANCISCO - Circuit Judge William A. Fletcher reads briefs all day, but he's also a fan of the tabloids.
"My law clerks know that I choose the long line at the grocery store so I can read the Enquirer," he said, smiling, in his San Francisco chambers, where a big red doorstop of a book sits on a coffee table. Its title: "The National Enquirer: Thirty Years of Unforgettable Images."
