FAIRFIELD - A man Judge Bradley Nelson had sentenced to jail for leading police officers on a high-speed car chase was back in court recently, seeking a break. He wanted to change the accounting of his jail time already served, but his attorney also slipped in a request to terminate his sentence early so he could spend time with his dying mother.
