LOS ANGELES - Asked to describe his current assignment, Superior Court Judge C.H. Rehm plainly sums it up in a few words:
"It's murder, rape, robbery and drugs," Rehm said matter-of-factly from his Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center chambers last week, as though ticking off items on a grocery list. "It's just whatever happens to come up."
