MURRIETA ? In criminal trials, in family law, on a master calendar and now in juvenile dependency court, Judge Judith Clark prides herself on making a good record.

One of her last assignments before appointment to the Riverside County Superior Court in 2005 was as supervisor of writs and appeals in the district attorney's office, where she spent 16 years.
