Fitting It All In

SAN DIEGO - Superior Court Judge Timothy B. Taylor keeps a framed photograph of his grandfather, character actor Nelson Leigh, in his office. Dressed in a black robe, Leigh sits on his bench, sternly looking down at Raymond Burr, who portrayed the famous TV lawyer Perry Mason.

Now, more than four decades later, Taylor dons those robes for real, these days as a family law judge based in Chula Vista.
