LOS ANGELES - Judge Randy Hammock says the most interesting thing about his job is "the human drama."
Maybe that's because Hammock, a film major at San Diego State University, always wanted to be a director. And then one day a professor took him aside and said he saw in Hammock the potential for being a great lawyer.
"I had never thought about it before," Hammock said.
