      STOCKTON - San Joaquin County Superior Court Judge Charlotte Jean Orcutt's career path was clear from childhood.
      "I always knew I wanted to be a judge," she said.
      When she applied for a deputy district attorney job in 1994, Orcutt's interviewer asked where she saw herself 10 years out.
