VISTA — Judge Robert Dahlquist acknowledges he has more to learn about being a criminal law judge.
After 14 years on the San Diego County bench dealing with family law, civil and probate calendars, he’s only had one brief stint handling criminal trials a decade ago. He stepped back into the role in February and said he’d like more experience completing the final step in serious crime trials.
