NEWPORT BEACH — Judge Brett London goes by a few different nicknames. People call him Big Lots, for example, because of his high-volume arraignment calendar. Others refer to the jurist as the Cheshire Cat, believing London and the iconic character from “Alice in Wonderland” have similar smiles.
“Some people find it relaxing it when I smile; some people find it disturbing,” London joked.
