SAN DIEGO — One of just three probate officers in San Diego County, Judge Robert Longstreth said he took the job because he’s excited about an coming influx of cases involving baby boomers.

“The baby boomers are coming into their 70s,” he said. “We’re going to start seeing the largest transfers of wealth in human history, and probate is probably where a lot of that is going to be addressed.”
