VAN NUYS — The walls of Judge James Kaddo’s chambers are lined with memories, including a photo of himself and former Gov. George Deukmejian, a close friend who encouraged him to apply for the bench nearly 30 years ago.
“I followed his advice, and I can say, unconditionally, I’ve extended my life by at least 20 years,” Kaddo said.
