VISALIA — The first few years after Judge Juliet Boccone was appointed to the bench were among the toughest of her life.
In 2006, she had to be freed from a car wreck and airlifted to a hospital after being struck by an 18-wheeler tractor on a narrow country highway in Tulare County. Since then, Boccone hasn’t gone a day without pain.
