While most musicians dream of playing sold-out venues, Yolo County Judge David W. Reed strums his guitar and sings for a tiny audience.

During the court shutdown he's been performing a few licks for the clerks.

"I've played some Rolling Stones, some Jimmy Buffet, some kind of folk rock," Reed said. "I've started to play a couple of songs for the staff for morale reasons every Friday."
