SAN BERNARDINO -- In an assignment judges typically rotate through every few years, Judge Arthur A. Harrison has presided over a family law courtroom since 2013 by choice.

"The presiding judge or maybe it was the assistant presiding judge at the time, Raymond Haight, he's since retired, said it'll make you a better judge," Harrison recalled. "Well, I think he's right."
