SAN BERNARDINO — A little over a decade ago, Judge Lynn M. Poncin was a prosecutor, but she reviewed her civil law when she was elected and now heads that department in the San Bernardino County Superior Court.
“It’s just a different variety of subjects I hadn’t really thought of since law school,” she said. “My husband’s a lawyer, and I said to him, ‘When’s the last time you heard the words “forum non conveniens?”’”
