SAN DIEGO — Besides weeding out potential jurors who were biased about jewelers or their customers, Judge Kenneth J. Medel had to weed out any disgruntled San Diego Chargers fans in one case.
NFL quarterback Drew Brees, who has a Super Bowl ring, said in a lawsuit that a jeweler conned him into grossly overpaying for diamonds. Brees v. Moradi, 37-2018-00015885-CU-NP-CTL (San Diego Sup. Ct., filed April 2, 2018).
