FRESNO — Superior Court Judge Heather M. Jones had a front-row seat to a recall — the last recall of a California governor.
Jones graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law right into the dot-com crash. No one was hiring. But then she landed a dream job: deputy legal affairs attorney for Gov. Gray Davis. Indeed, she said, the job was great, but her timing wasn’t. It was late 2002.
