POMONA — While the COVID-19 pandemic led to case backlogs for many courtrooms, it helped resolve a handful of Judge Lisa R. Washington’s family law matters.
“They come in and they’re like, ‘We don’t want the divorce anymore,’” She said. “’We’re back together now because of COVID. We’re raising our children together.’ That’s happened on at least three occasions I can think of off the top of my head.”
