VENTURA — After juggling criminal calendars during the week, Judge Paul W. Baelly doesn’t mind spending weekends helping out his mother with the family business.
“I buy inventory, stock the shelves, maintain stuff, fix stuff, try to give her a break,” he said. “She’s 70 and she still works there by herself.”
