BANNING — Approaching a decade presiding over high volume calendars, Commissioner Eric V. Isaac says running an efficient courtroom has become a part of him.

“You kind of have this internal clock,” he said. “I’ve received enough information, I’ve given them enough time, but I have to move forward because you can easily, on this calendar, get caught where you’re spending too much time and you can’t go through it all.”
