MARTINEZ — If Commissioner Gina Dashman has a tagline, it might be, “Let’s see about resolving it.”

So says attorney Matthew P. Guichard. Like many other attorneys who appear before Dashman in Contra Costa County Superior Court, he knew her when she was an attorney and mediator. The founder of Guichard Teng Portillo & Garrett APC in Walnut Creek said he remembers settling the first case he ever had against her.
