Kenneth A. Linzer joined Diaz, Reus & Targ LLP as partner in Diaz Reus & Targ LLP (Los Angeles).

Mr. Linzer provides strategic counsel to clients in the courtroom as well as in the boardroom. He is trusted by clients to resolve litigation and business disputes, as well as for his advice regarding key corporate issues. He frequently counsels executives, business owners and boards of directors in matters including strategic planning and corporate governance. He is particularly experienced in all aspects of business and investment matters, real estate matters, corporate governance, intellectual property and technology industries.

Mr. Linzer has negotiated agreements for his clients with all the major and mini-major movie studios in Hollywood dealing with independent movie production, television production, streaming services, among others, regarding rights acquisitions, production issues, talent relations, content and merchandise licensing and royalty audits for celebrity clients.

In addition, he was one of the first West Coast attorneys to represent clients in the rapidly evolving litigation finance field. Representative matters include all aspects of claim funding, law firm financing and lawsuit investment-related litigation. He has authored several significant articles on the attorney-client privilege in litigation finance cases as well as contributed to the recently published Model Litigation Finance Agreement.

Admitted to practice in California, he is a past-member of the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Section on Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law, and the editor of its Annual Symposium on Licensing. He is also a Judge Pro Tempore at the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills Municipal Courts.

Christine Marie Ciccotti joined California Department of State Hospitals as deputy director, chief counsel in Davis.

Ciccotti has served as a deputy attorney general in the Correctional Law Section at the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General since 2014. Prior to that, she was a trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Contract Management Agency and an assistant general counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons.
