A former federal public defender and a former federal prosecutor have teamed up to launch a new white collar defense practice group at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP's Los Angeles office.

"I call her my work wife," Marina A. Torres, a former Central District assistant U.S. attorney, said with a chuckle about Koren L. Bell, who worked for nearly a decade in the Federal Public Defender's Office in Los Angeles.
