On Sept. 8, 1995, plaintiff Sandra Watanabe, a 33-year-old realty loan representative, was traveling northbound when she entered a light-controlled intersection with the westbound off-ramp from the Ventura freeway. The plaintiff claimed defendant Sandra Glaser ran a red light, colliding with her vehicle. (Three witnesses supported the plaintiff's version.) The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on a negligence theory of recovery.
