Facts
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. filed suit against Marc Toberoff, the attorney who handled the Shuster estate's suit against Warner Bros. regarding the rights to Superman. Warner Bros. claimed that Toberoff intentionally interfered with the studio's contracts with the Shuster estate.
Result
The court granted partial summary judgment for Toberoff, releasing him from Warner Bros.' claims. The court found that the claims were invalid because they had been filed outside of the statute of limitations period.
