Facts
Plaintiffs Kristie and Paul Romaniuk were traveling eastbound on Whiterock Road in a Honda CRV with their seat belts fastened. Defendant Deana Clark pulled out of a parking lot in a Chevrolet Tahoe and T-boned the plaintiffs' vehicle on the passenger side. The impact caused the vehicle to tip and roll onto the driver's side. The plaintiff Kristie Romaniuk was driving and was knocked unconscious. A firefighter extricated the plaintiffs from the vehicle. They took themselves to the emergency room and followed up with their treating doctors for neck and back pain. The defendant contended that plaintiffs were speeding and at fault for the accident.
